The day job decided to have horrible timing. It had cooperated so well for a while. I had to go to Washington, DC, last week for a couple of days. Now, I have to go again this week and again the following week. Don't they know that school is about to start and I have to get kids registered for school and stuff? Not to mention that I have to work on the WIP. I WILL get that sucker finished, if for no other reason than I promised myself that I would. It's not like some of my friends who have actual deadlines they are up against. My deadline is imposed by me. "Me" knows that no one else is looking for it, so "me" tends to procrastinate.
I cannot believe I will actually have a senior in high school. We had her senior pictures done in June. Now that depressed me.
Well, Sven, I will do all I can to make good on my committment to the challenge. However, I'm doing a terrible job so far. Forgive me challenge masters - Stephanie, Alison, Larissa, HelenKay, and Jo. At least I plotted! Baby steps. Now, if someone would get the day job to leave me alone I could get some writing done. :{
Happy Writing
Lynn, your daughter is absolutely beautiful!! What lovely pictures, and thanks for posting them!
ReplyDeleteTry not to think of it as your kids growing up but that you'll have more time to write the next great novel.
