My friend, Denise, and I have decided to have a challenge to see if we can finish our WIP's in six weeks. She has edits, etc., but mine is to complete the MS. So, loser buys dinner for Denise and Amie... Amie isn't really included because she has a publisher imposed deadline that she has to meet anyway and has a week longer to accomplish than we have given each other. So, I may be typing all day on Thanksgiving so I can say I did it. We didn't, however, say what would happen if we both accomplished said goal. We should revisit...
I was very productive on Monday, approx 3500 words. Of course, I couldn't do anything today on it because I had to do a booster club meeting that ran late, then had to feed the kiddos, and chill a few minutes with Jon Stewart (too funny). Needless to say, it is now 5 minutes to midnight and I haven't touched the WIP today. Don't know if tomorrow will be a go either, but I'm gonna try.
I will report to Sven on my Wednesday progress in a few minutes though. Not bad progress for one day's work.
Wow, 3500 words in one day is fantastic! Even if you have to miss a day or two, you're still easily meeting an average of 1K per day! :)
